We are a friendly and caring community of Christians.
We believe that every person is made in the image of God and loved by God and, though we are not the youngest or most diverse of congregations, we seek to be increasingly welcoming and inclusive. We aim to be a church for people who are curious about faith, looking for community and wanting to make a difference: a safe and hospitable place to explore the Christian faith and community. Our community is growing gently and is increasingly intergenerational. We include people from across the globe, as well as people who've called Oxford home for much of their lives. Many of us are (or were) medics and it's a great place to escape the student bubble and meet the locals. We are a member of the Inclusive Church Network and are registered for same-sex weddings. For Holy Communion we use non-alcoholic wine and gluten free bread. The body of Christ is made up of many parts and we believe the more diverse we are the more whole we become.
